We spent several weeks and thousands of dollars creating our estate plan. Wills, a trust, advance health care directives, powers of attorney - everything our estate attorney told us we needed.
That’s when we realized our plan was incomplete.
The problem: digital sprawl
Each of us has dozens of online accounts: banking, insurance, streaming, even our lawn service. You don’t notice until someone asks you to list them all.
They are tied to email logins, passwords, and security questions that no one else knows. Each has its own rules for what happens when you pass away. None of them are covered by a will.
No one has solved this
You can hire an estate attorney to write your will. You can hire a financial advisor to manage your investments. You can buy life insurance in an afternoon.
But there’s no professional for your digital accounts. No standard process. No industry solution. Just a grieving family left to figure it out, one login at a time, often for months.
The idea for a Holograph
We needed a place to store instructions for every account, and share them securely with only the people we trusted to handle our affairs.
So we built something designed for this important job - not a piece of paper, or some online drive that will be forgotten. Now the Holograph App is in limited release, and will soon be fully available.
